Hi, my name is Becki McEvilly & here's a little bit about me...
I am a 28 year old web designer & developer specialising in standards compliant XHTML and CSS front end development, usability and accessibility. I have a passion for design & love nothing more than waking up in the morning & getting my creative juices flowing.
I am currently based in Manchester, England and provide my services globally. I live with my best friend and five pets, including my three legged cat, Dave, & my two pet rats.
I produce websites, graphic designs, print designs and logos / branding for small to medium businesses and individuals on a freelance or private basis. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Flash and can hand code XHTML and CSS.
I have a degree in Media Production from the University of Lincoln & chose to specialise in new media six years ago, working with a selection of design companies and eventually becoming a freelance designer.
My main focus when designing for my clients is on the audience and their experience, ensuring that the product, the purpose of the design & the values of the client shine through.
Creating something that is user-friendly & functional, & that results in an enhanced & more memorable experience for the target audience, is something that fills me with pride and can improve a client's presence, especially online, & help grow their business.
I work closely with all of my clients, guiding them through each stage of the process & keeping them updated with the progress of their design, whilst taking extra effort to ensure that the final result exceeds their expectations.
